My first trip to India to see a very good friend. A chalet built in the middle of a forest with fantastic views. We were allowed to stay in the hotel even though it had officially closed for the season so I cannot comment on the food but I will be honest with my review. The place looks amazing, however to get to it you have to traverse along a mud road for which you really need a 4 x 4, my understanding is that the road will be done in the very near future. Ample car parking outside the hotel in a gated frontage. The foyer is welcoming and up the stairs into a very large reception/foyer area with seating and the rooms are off of it. The rooms are very large with a wood effect lino type flooring. The bed is large and comfortable. Adequate storage for clothes. The bathroom is good with a very welcoming shower. I wish there were some shelves or something in the bathroom so that toiletries can be stored. Just outside the bathroom is a full length mirror with a very close power point, ideal for ladies to do their hair and dressing (my wife would of approved). There is no heating so the rooms can be cold for a westerner but heater blowers were found which took the chill off. The chap who was in reception was superb and made our stay so good. The restaurant is off the reception area and it was spotless. Go through and the ladies and gents toilets were to be found and they were also spotless, a little bit of tiling still to be done but very very clean. Climb up the pathway to the top of the hotel and there is a flat grass area, ideal to sit, play badminton, or just observe the scenery. Overall a very nice place to stay, if you want peace and quiet, fantastic views then I recommend that you give this place a try. I am sure you will agree with me.…
